Executive Director, Owner

frank@learnlistenplay.org

Frank has taught music in a variety of educational environments and has over a decade of experience in education. He is a professional pianist and composer specializing in contemporary piano and orchestration. Frank started his career in early education serving as the Music Coordinator for Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. It was there that he found his passion for early education and introducing young children to the world of music. Frank has also held leadership positions with other education based non-profits serving as Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown Teen Center and Parent Engagement Manager for Head Start of the Lehigh Valley.

"I believe that children learn through exploration and having the opportunity to play instruments and hear professional instrumentalists and vocalists in person. Whenever possible, students will experience music through experiencing it in person, not through a CD, video, or recording. My philosophy on music education is based on introducing music concepts through live demonstrations and students doing what everyone does when they listen to good music, get up and dance! Our program is unique because we combine the best practices of music education facilitated through professional musicians who are some of the best at what they do."

Frank attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA and University of Maryland Baltimore County and studied Music Composition, Music Education and Managerial Science and has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Frank also holds an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Maryland University College.
