Francis Coates III
Executive Director/Owner
Bachelor of Arts - University of Maryland Baltimore County

Learn Listen Play Co.™ was founded by Francis Coates in April 2010. Mr.
Coates has a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Maryland
Baltimore County where he studied Music Composition, Music Education,
and Administrative and Managerial Science. He is a successful composer
who has worked with local and national artists. Mr. Coates was
recently commissioned by the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet
to compose a 40 minute orchestral piece for the ballet "Comfort Zone"
choreographed by Kjara Staric. It premiered May 5th, 2010 in
Ljubljana, Slovenia.
He has worked with several non-profits in the Washington DC area as
well as Philadelphia. He served as Director of Music for Victory
Fellowship International in Capital Heights, MD from 2004-2009. He
served as the Artistic Director for Georgia E. Gregory School of Music
in 2010. In January 2009, Please Touch Museum
(Children's Museum of
Philadelphia)
hired Mr. Coates to create a music department for the museum. Mr.
Coates designed many programs that were
performed daily at the museum including "The End of the Day Parade". He has also contributed to many of the music
festivals that take place annually at the museum.
On March 26, 2011, Francis married the love of his life, Dr. Rachel Coates (Rosenberg). Rachel is a chemical engineer and has worked for Rutgers University researching spinal cord injuries. Dr. Coates is currently a scientist for Kraft Foods.

Robert Joffred
Music Instructor
Bachelor of Arts - Temple University
Robert Joffred is currently enrolled at Temple University where he studies Music Education with a concentration in trombone. While at Temple, Robert also participates as a section leader in Temple’s Diamond Marching Band and co-music director in Broad Street Line A Cappella. Outside of his studies, he creates original music under the moniker Ro-Bear and covers pop music with his best friends as Kill3r Whale. A Nintendo Game Boy is his instrument of choice for these projects. Before all of this, Robert Joffred began his training with guitar which he has used as the foundation for all of his musical endeavors.

Emilia Costantini
Music Instructor
Bachelor of Arts - Craine School of Music at SUNY Potsdam
Emilia Costantini is from Syracuse, New York and is so excited to be a member of the Learn Listen Play team. She graduated from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam in December 2010, with a major in music education and a minor in anthropology. Throughout college, Emilia worked with students from elementary age to college age in general music, chorus, and private voice lessons. She also was able to participate in a study abroad program in Ghana where she learned Ghanian drumming, dancing, and singing. She also participated in a study abroad program in Jamaica where she learned Jamaican drumming and taught Jamaican drumming, singing, and recorder to elementary students.
